When

York Student Market will take place regularly throughout each academic term, at present we plan on hosting a market every fortnight.

The calendar for the Autumn Term 2009 is as follows;

Week 4, 4th of November

Week 6, 18th of November

Week 7, 25th of November

Week 9, 9th December

Prices

York Student Market is committed to providing low cost rental prices to allow anyone to sell at a York Student Market event.

1 Stall;

Whole Day (11:00-17:00) £10

5 Hours £8

4 Hours £7

3 Hours £6

1-2 Hours £5

For traders who use 2 or 3 stalls we will charge an additional £5 for every stall.

Length

York Student Market will last from 11:00hrs in the morning till 17:00hrs in the evening. This may change depending on the time of year and also if there are any special activities taking place at the market. Trader will have from 10:00-11:00hrs to set up their stalls.

Stalls

Normally there are 26 stalls at York Student Market. Every single one of them can be rented by either a student, staff member, external business or member of the general public to sell, promote or advertise any products, service or event they wish.

A standard size stall is 1.5m in length and 0.5m in depth, each stall comes with 1 chair. Back boards can be provided on request.

Multiple stalls can be booked out at once at an additional cost. It is also possible to book a set amount of space when applying. Upon which you will be contacted with a quote on the price that the space will cost you to rent.
